1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using ProCalcLab.com (the “Site”) and the services made available through the Site (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Site.
2. The Services
Pro Calculators Lab provides online calculators, converters, interactive tools, reference information and related content (collectively, “Tools”). Tools are provided for general informational and educational purposes. We may add, modify or remove Tools at any time.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least the legal minimum age in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract (typically 13–16+ depending on local law) to use the Services. If you are under the applicable age, you may use the Site only with parental or guardian consent.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site and Tools only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- use the Site to violate any law, regulation or third-party right;
- attempt to access restricted parts of the Site or interfere with the operation, servers or networks;
- submit viruses, malware, or otherwise harmful code;
- scrape, mine, copy or reproduce content systematically without permission;
- attempt to reverse-engineer calculators or otherwise reproduce them for commercial redistribution without our prior written consent.
5. Accounts and security
Some features may require registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Accuracy of information / professional disclaimer
Tools are provided to assist calculations and estimations. While we aim for accuracy:
- No warranty: Tools, results, explanations and any content on the Site are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Not professional advice: Results are for informational use only and do not substitute for professional, licensed, or certified advice. For safety-critical, regulatory or legally binding applications (engineering designs, structural works, medical or legal matters, etc.) consult a qualified professional.
- User responsibility: You are responsible for verifying inputs and outputs and for any decisions made based on Site content.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, images, designs, code, calculators, UI, and database compilations) is owned or licensed by Pro Calculators Lab and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only, provided you retain all copyrights and proprietary notices.
If you want to reuse, republish, embed or redistribute Site content commercially or beyond fair use, contact [email protected] to request permission.
8. User content / submissions
If you submit content (bug reports, formulas, sample data, feedback, comments, or other materials), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, distribute and display such content in connection with operating and promoting the Site. Do not submit content that you do not have the right to share. We may remove or refuse submissions at our discretion.
9. Third-party links and services
The Site may link to third-party websites, services or libraries. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for it. Any interaction you have with third-party content is at your own risk. Third-party services used by the Site (analytics, CDN, payment processors, etc.) have separate terms and privacy policies.
10. Payments and refunds (if applicable)
Currently, the core Tools are provided free of charge. If we introduce paid features, subscription plans or one-time fees, separate purchase and refund terms will apply and will be presented at purchase. All payments must comply with the then-current payment terms. For paid features, refunds (if any) will be handled according to the payment terms published at the time of purchase.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Pro CALCULATORS LAB, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR THE TOOLS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR ACCESS TO THE PARTICULAR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (US$100) IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Pro Calculators Lab and its affiliates, officers, agents and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Copyright / DMCA
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on the Site without authorization, please contact us at [email protected] with a DMCA takedown notice containing the necessary legal elements (name, contact info, identification of the copyrighted work, location of infringing material, statement of good faith, signature). We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or specific features at any time for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons. On termination, your right to use the Site ceases but sections that by their nature survive (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) remain in force.
15. Modifications to the Site and Terms
We may modify the Site, features, pricing and these Terms at any time. We will post changes on this page with an updated Effective Date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If material changes are introduced, we may provide additional notice (e.g., site banner or email) where feasible.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of Pro Calculators Lab’s principal place of business. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pro Calculators Lab relating to the Site and Services.
